With the arrival of warmer weather and the lack of rainfall, our resident lion, Mpofu, has even made an appearance at one of the waterholes. Although there is still a fair amount of water left in the Park, this will dry up quickly. Sable, roan and kudu are slowly reappearing out of the bush to drink at the pumped pans, a sure sign the natural water is drying up. (Pictured: Mpofu with his partner, Mbiza)

Victoria Falls has the potential of regaining its status as an investment hub on the continent, an international investment company has said. South Africa-based property and investment company Zimvest said the resort area could potentially become the Cape Town of Zimbabwe in terms of property development within the next decade.

As the self-destructive tide begins to turn the world over, a new generation of tourists now ignore glossy brochures because of the trees cut down to print them and find out from word of mouth or online where they can travel to make a difference to the lives of people they meet.
