My wife stopped taking control pills two years ago but she has not been able to get pregnant. We have had a baby before, she is now six years. What may be the problem? - J.B
Dear JB
The midwife once explained to me that when taking control pills one should make sure to take them the same hour every day. She emphasized that the control pills starts working after 15days. If anyone was to have sex before the advised 15days she would fall pregnant “because the pills will not yet be in your system.”
It is possible that if it takes a while for one’s body to take them in, then it may as well take a little while for the system to get rid of it. But two years is not my idea of a little while. You need to visit your doctor for a solution to this. - Gracey
